For several months, André Villas-Boas has become the president of FC Porto. A new role for the one who was a coach some time ago. And even if the sporting results of the Dragoes are not yet there, Avb is not lacking in ideas. This Friday, the former Tactician of Chelsea showed that he also knew how to give the share of things on occasions less enjoyable than football. Inevitably affected by the overwhelming disappearance of Diogo Jota and his brother, Villas-Boas did not fail to send all its condolences to the family of the deceased. AVB even took the opportunity to explain that he was working on a return from Diogo Jota to the Dracoes and that the latter became a socio of the Portuguese cador:
«We appreciated everything he represented, on the ground but also outside. He was not a socio so far but is today. I hope all members of the board of directors will understand this decision. These are symbolic gestures that do not erase the pain that strikes their loved ones today. We worked with his agent, Jorge Mendes, on the return of Diogo Jota to FC Porto from the 2026-2027 season. We talked about this possibility and I had informed Diogo Jota through Jorge Mendes during his marriage. It was a dream for all Porto supporters that it materializes.»
