The police officer involved in the chase with the 14-year-old teenager who died in Lausanne earlier this week after falling from his motorcycle is one of the defendants in the Mike Ben Peter case, the Police of the Vaud Capital told RTS, confirming information from Daily 24 Hours.

In this case dating from 2018, a man of 39 years of Nigerian origin died in Lausanne from a violent arrest during which he was handcuffed and tackled on the ground. Presumed innocent, the biker policeman and five others of his colleagues were declared non -guilty in the first and second instance. An appeal was filed with the Federal Court.
Contacted, the Lausanne police do not comment on the two cases in progress. However, she specifies that the policeman concerned is still active.
Fatal chase
The policeman was dispatched Monday evening to the Blécherette district of Lausanne, after the power plant was informed of “urban rodeos”.

Arrest in the municipal council
