“The problem we have is that the Medef (main employers’ organization) does not look at reality in front of the life of workers who are exposed to arduousness. ” said Yvan Ricordeau.

This “conclave” brought together two employers’ organizations, MEDEF and CPME, and three unions, CFDT, CFE-CGC and CFTC. Several social partners such as FO, CGT and the U2P (employers for craftsmen) had thrown in the towel earlier.
