Adapted sport athletics: in only three years, Sacha Minaudier Moussairoux has become a champion of France on 100 m and 200 m. An inspiring course carried by the Villeneuve club and a flawless determination.
This is the story of a young person who started athletics, 3 years ago, as part of the adapted sport within the Villeneuve-sur-Lot club.
Very quickly integrated into this large club family, Sacha Minaudier Moussairoux was able to flourish, open to others and crossed the levels one after the other, well advised by Armelle Barella who accompanied her to overcome her fears and exceed her limits and well surrounded by her friends “green and white”. After several months of training (under difficult conditions due to the work of the stadium) and successive competitions within the framework of the FFA, Sacha showed strength and determination.
“He did it”
Today, Sacha has proven his pugnacity, step by step he arrived at the French adapted sports championship that he had for dreams in a little corner of his head.
In Val-de-Reuil, Sacha made the trip with her coach Armelle to apprehend the high level and the result was exceptional, even if the latter was convinced of her abilities.
Club president Jean-Pierre Schiefer, either, had no doubts, but “a competition remains a competition” with his share of unforeseen events.
With a well -prepared supervision, with his family and the friends of IME (whose educators organized an exceptional stay with a detour to encourage him) Sacha had to do the work. He did it, bringing the title back to 100 m and 200 m with great ease and finishing third at the weight throwing.
Sacha joins the group of French champions of the Villeneuvois Athletics stadium which expands over the years, the fruit of a work in the foot of the club’s coaches and a sign that strong values, family atmosphere and high level are not incompatible. “Together, we are stronger” is a motto that resonates in our country house.
