A 25-year-old woman was arrested Friday afternoon in connection with an assault on two police officers in Sherbrooke.

Police from the Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS) went to a housing building located on the 18th Avenue Nord to carry out a search.
On the scene, the authorities have seized drugs, equipment that can be used for drug trafficking and an electrical pulse.
The 25 -year -old woman was arrested to obstruct a peace agent, possession of a prohibited weapon and breaks of probation, the SPS said in a statement.
She was released under a promise to appear, confirmed the SPS.
Recall that a 33 -year -old man had attacked two police officers and tried to disarm them during an intervention on the night of July 31 to August 1.
Police from the Sherbrooke Police Service underwent many injuries during the incident.
The 33 -year -old individual is still held by the authorities and could face numerous accusations, including serious assault and attempt to disarm a peace agent.
