A dispute between two individuals would have degenerated on Wednesday evening on the boulevard de Cessole. An investigation into voluntary homicide was opened and entrusted to the local judicial police service.
Monday evening, around 7:30 p.m., a 42-year-old man was fatally stabbed on the neck on Boulevard de Cessole, north of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes). Despite the rapid intervention of rescue, the victim died during his transfer to the Pasteur hospital, following a massive hemorrhage.
According to the first elements collected by the Nice prosecution, an exchange would have degenerated between two individuals shortly before the facts. The alleged perpetrator, still unidentified stabs, fled. He is actively sought by investigators from the Local Judicial Police Service (SLPJ), seized with a flagrance investigation for voluntary homicide.

The deputy of the Alpes-Maritimes Bernard Chaix (UDR) has expressed his emotion on the social network: “A man tragically lost his life last night in Nice-North, victim of an assault with a knife. I send my support for his family. Justice must act quickly. Security in our neighborhoods is an absolute priority. ”
