A fatal work accident hit the Gers. A horse dealer was killed by a bull during a load in the small town of Loubedat.
A serious accident at work occurred this Friday, July 25 afternoon in Loubedat, a small town in Gers. A 68 -year -old Gers Horse Merchant went to an agricultural exploitation in order to acquire bulls.
During the loading of animals, a particularly nervous bull violently placed it against a metal barrier. The impact was so brutal that the man collapsed on the ground, under the eyes of the witnesses present on the spot. The emergency services arrived in a few minutes, alerted by those present on the farm.
They discovered man extended to the ground, unconscious and cardiac arrest. Despite their efforts to revive him, they could not save him. The death was noted shortly after their arrival.

A judicial investigation was opened by the gendarmerie.
“It is a dramatic accident, the firefighters called me, an assistant to the town hall was able to go there. It is a simple farm bull who seems to have been afraid when the merchant entered the box to charge him. Unfortunately, the attempts at resuscitation gave nothing, and this man died on the spot,” explained the mayor of Loubédat Bernard Sempé.
