A baby discovered abandoned in a garden, his family found dead 60 km away

An infant was discovered Tuesday afternoon, alone in his car seat, placed in the garden of a house in a city in west of Tennessee. This discovery sparked an investigation which quickly took a tragic turn. Indeed, the authorities found four members of the baby’s family killed in a wood 60 km away, reports NBC News.

The victims were identified as Matthew Wilson (21) and Adrianna Williams (20), the baby’s parents, as well as Courtney Rose (38), his maternal grandmother, and Braydon Williams (15), his uncle. Their bodies were found in a wood, sixty kilometers.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Research Austin Robert Drummond, 29, suspected of the four first degree murders and crimes linked to firearms. Considered “armed and dangerous”, he is still on the run and actively sought by the authorities.

A dozen agencies looking for the suspect

The case began Tuesday when a witness alerted 911 after discovering the baby in a car seat “in the garden of a stranger”. A photo broadcast by the sheriff’s office shows the child “in the arms of an attentive rescuer”.
