In planes, the seats located near emergency exits, wider than the others, are particularly sought after. But, at many airlines, you have to pay a surplus to reserve these locations which offer more legs for the legs.
A British Passenger from the Thai Lion Air, a Thai Low-Cost company, paid the price recently. He was expelled from an airplane at Bangkok airport on June 25, when he had settled in one of these seats without paying for this option, reports an article New York Post Spotted by BFMTV.
Dragged
After refusing to return to its initial place, the tone would have raised and this passenger would have become aggressive. He was finally expelled from the aircraft by several police members who dislodged him from his seat, then dragged to the ground to get him out of the aircraft. The scene was filmed by unhappy passengers.

Incidents with irascible or alcoholic passengers in planes have become frequent. In June 2024, a drunk British passenger sowed panic on an Easyjet plane between the United Kingdom and Spain, causing a fight, then trying to enter the cockpit before trying to open a door in full flight.
In October 2024, still on Easyjet, a flight connecting Agadir (Morocco) to Lyon had to land in emergency in Malaga, Spain, because of the “disruptive behavior of a passenger on board”. A drunk passenger began to smoke aboard the aircraft.
