A party on a boat, a dispute nebula, then a possible settling of accounts in the park: a quarrel between members of the same gang occurred during the birthday party of an influential criminal of Montreal-North would have led to the death of Cédrick Bélizaire in a Brossard park.

The victim, Cédrick Bélizaire, was known to the authorities and at the heart of tensions which oppose two enemy gangs in the northeast of Montreal. Nicknamed Ballout in the street, he was considered by the police as a member of Pop Team, a gang of Montreal-North. He had already faced justice, especially in terms of pimping.
According to our information from criminal sources, it all started during the birthday party of a very influential gang member of “Zone 43.” The expression designates the territory of Montreal-North in the interlope environment.
The victim would have taken part in the celebrations, which stood on a boat. An argument whose pattern is unknown would have broken out between Cédrick Bélizaire and another guest, connected to the same gang. It would therefore be, according to our criminal sources, an internal quarrel.
In all likelihood, they would have gone to the park after the party, accompanied by other people. It was at this time that the 27 -year -old was reached by firearm projectiles.
