A heavy truck struck a power line





A 53-foot heavy truck made a road trip on the 108 West this Tuesday around 12:20 p.m. in Saint-Éphrem. He then struck a hydro-Québec pole and electrical wires.


When writing these lines, the driver was still stuck in his vehicle’s cabin, firefighters try to get him out, but it is difficult to access. Consequently, the Sûreté du Québec does not know its state of health.

Traffic was closed between Route 269 and the 271, a detour was therefore established by Route 269.
