The primary motivation behind this potential upheaval is economical. The margin gap between a standard iPhone and an iPhone Pro is considerable. Finally, it is a question of putting order in a product portfolio which has become too complex. Between the 16th, standard, pro, pro max models, and the Air model supposed to complete the table in September, the iPhone range borders on saturation and can sow confusion.
