A man who looks funny to Santa Claus who had attracted the praises of the citizens of Rougemont for having offered Christmas gifts to children in need has just been arrested for a series of sexual assault on minors.
Two days before Christmas last December, Réal Lessard left around twenty gifts in front of the crèche of the Rougemont church.
The beautiful gesture of man, immortalized in photo, had been underlined on social networks.

“Thank you to this kind sir. Like what the Christmas spirit really exists, ”wrote a surfer about Réal Lessard on December 23.
“Wow!” Bravo to you, sir, very beautiful gesture. You are the Santa Claus of Rougemont, ”wrote another.
“Congratulations to this man who pleases children. Beautiful gesture! ” Commented a woman affected by the gesture of Réal Lessard, who, with her imposing white beard, looks like Santa Claus.
But behind his generous and childhood well-being looks of children would hide potential sexual attacker in series, the authorities say.
The sixty -something man was arrested on Thursday in Rougemont, for a series of sexual assaults committed on people under the age of 16.

The Sûreté du Québec has not revealed the number of victims having been identified so far, contenting himself with saying that there were “several”.
The events which are accused of Réal Lessard would have taken place in relief between 2020 and 2022.
