A dramatic traffic accident occurred this Friday, July 18 on the A31 motorway on Friday, July 18, around 6:45 p.m., shortly after the 43 exit leading to Élange, in the Luxembourg – Metz direction.
The accident would involve a motorcycle, a van and a light vehicle. For reasons still undetermined, a violent collision occurred between these three vehicles, causing the death of the motor, a 29 -year -old woman. Because despite the rapid intervention of the SAMU, the Bel-Air hospital, and the firefighters of Thionville, Yutz or Maizières-lès-Metz, the victim died on the spot of his injuries.
The rescue intervention required the closure of the motorway, causing an eleven kilometers cap on upstream, before motorists were led in a deviation leading to the Kinepolis roundabout in Thionville.
