Interstar will continue its activities from its headquarters on Boulevard de Portland.

Saint-Gobain designs, manufactures and distributes materials and services for construction and industrial markets.
With this last acquisition, Saint-Gobain will add more than 20 million Canadian dollars to its turnover which was located at 46.6 billion euros in 2024.
The company, which celebrates its 360 years of existence in 2025, has 161,000 employees in 80 countries.
This acquisition follows the company’s recent actions in the construction chemicals in the United States and Canada, in particular the acquisitions of Chryso in 2021 and GCP Applied Technologies in 2022.
Interstar has 55 employees mainly in Sherbrooke, but also in other facilities in Calgary, Alberta, and Junction City, Illinois.
Saint-Gobain will continue to exploit the division of granular pigments and automated dispensers under the Interstar brand in the United States and Canada.
