A young 23 -year -old criminal found lifeless in his prison cell before being tried for pimping would have died of stress because of his illicit activities behind bars, who would have exacerbated a failure to his heart.
Brian Lamoureux would have brought horror to at least three victims. He was detained pending his trials for commitment and pimping.
During his arrest in September 2022, the integrated squad in the fight against pimping indicated that he could have had other victims, minors and adults.
He would have continued his recruitment on the prison, we learned.
But Brian Lamoureux will never be tried for the crimes that he was criticized.
Early on November 22, he was found lifeless in his cell.

No clue suggests that he was the victim of a crime. The investigation also excludes the hypothesis of suicide. It is in fact a natural death.
Brian Lamoureux would indeed have died of a heart discomfort suffered, according to Coroner Daniel Riverin, who investigated his death.
“In a hostile environment”
Lamoureux had heart problems. He had a myocardial disease, the muscle of the heart, which affected his ability to pump blood effectively. To this was added a rhythm disorder.
This condition was known to the criminal. No medication was prescribed to him. A simple annual medical follow -up was recommended.
But this heart condition was probably incompatible with his life as a delinquent.
The detention of Brian Lamoureux was indeed not a quiet river, we can read in the report of the coroner made public.
The prison was indeed a “particularly hostile environment” for him. Despite everything, Lamoureux refused to be placed in protection.
The young person indulged in “illicit activities” in detention, which “[généraient] Presumably in him a chronic and/or acute stress ”.
All this tension can have triggered or aggravated arrhythmias.
Deemed
“In people with cardiovascular disease, stress can precipitate serious events such as rhythm disorder or infarction,” said the coroner in his report.
All the criminal files for which Brian Lamoureux was to be tried soon at the Laval courthouse were recently closed due to his death.
The announcement of his death had a mixed effect for one of his alleged victims.
“I was sad at first since he did not have to assume his wrongs. But after a while, I ended up understanding that life decided to judge him other than with restorative justice, “says the young woman, who requested anonymity.
He has already been guilty of advertising a victim’s sexual services. He has also already been sentenced to assault detention, vehicle theft and break -in introduction.
