Air Canada conflict: uncertainty for passengers

A climate of uncertainty and confusion reigned on Sunday at Montreal airport when many Air Canada passengers were waiting to know whether or not they could fly during the day. Several passengers met on the spot had false hopes while their flight was finally canceled in the middle of the afternoon.

The 21 -year -old was waiting for his flight to Sydney with his parents on Sunday noon. The young man, who must practice basketball at the university level did not know if he would see his parents again in a few minutes or a few months.

“Technically, I have to come back for the holidays. I think everything will be correct, but with everything that happens is difficult to say. It’s distressing as a situation, I do not find that we think very much of passengers in this story, ”commented the sportsman.

Kirsten Desamito who was to leave Montreal airport at 6:00 p.m. was said to wait until 2:00 pm to find out “what would come from his flight” in vain.

A small five -day stay in Miami was reduced by at least one day for a couple of friends met at Montreal Airport.

“We cannot cancel the hotel, fortunately we had no planned activities, but all the same,” laments Coline Saint-Sulpice.

The young friends met near the air Canada records were still reserving plane tickets for this evening with the carrier.
