Air Canada updates its goodwill policy and includes accommodation costs

Special policy in travel fees

Customers who have undergone cancellations and delays between August 15 and 23 and who have made reasonable expenses for hotel stays, meals, land transportation or other expenses are eligible for reimbursement for members of their travel group.

Complaints must be supported by receipts and submitted through the Air Company Customer Relations portal.

Air Canada will treat complaints as quickly as possible, but due to the expected volume, it could take four to six weeks.

The special policy, which goes beyond our legal obligations, covers the reasonable costs of accommodation, meals, transport and other expenses.

The flexible reservation modification policy continues

Earlier this week, Air Canada has set up a policy in the event of a disruption to cover the transportation expenses that customers may have started to go to their work conflict.
