A new refusal to comply led this Friday to a very serious accident near Colomiers station in Haute-Garonne, we learned from a police source. Around 4:30 p.m., a fleeing driver violently struck a car aboard which was a family made up of three children and their mother. The four of them were transferred to the hospital, without vital stake.
The driver at the origin of the accident had refused to submit to a gendarmerie check in the town of Pibrac. He then fled on foot and is still actively wanted by the police this Saturday, using a tracker dog. He led a vehicle registered in Germany, which was taken care of by the gendarmes.

An investigation is underway for “Involuntary injuries aggravated by endangering the life of others and flight offense”said the Toulouse prosecutor’s office Figaro. According to the prosecutor, “The victims are miraculous because they were able to get out of the CHU”. A video circulating on social networks shows a Mercedes SUV struck very violently the Citroën of the family, before the driver runs away.
According to La Dépêche du Midi, the victims are of American nationality and the three children, aged 10, 12 and 13 years. About fifteen firefighters had been deployed on the spot, with five rescue machines.
