Alouettes de Montréal | The season of Caleb Evans is over; Shea Patterson repatriated

Bad news has been accumulating for a few weeks in the Montreal Alouettes camp.

This time, the birds announced that the quarter Caleb Evans underwent a tear of the anterior cross ligament of the right knee and that it will miss the rest of the season. Evans had been called in reinforcement after McLeod Bethel-Thompson was recently injured in the right elbow-he himself had been called to replace the quarter Davis Alexander, injured.

Meanwhile, the Alouettes had granted a contract at the quarter Cameron Dukes, which participated in the last training camp for the Argonauts in Toronto.

Shea Patterson, who is 28 years old, participated in five games in the Alouettes uniform in 2021.

The six-foot and 212 LB American spent two campaigns with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2023-24, before taking part in the Blue Bombers training camp in Winnipeg.

In 2024, he participated in the 18 games of the regular Roughriders season, as well as in the semi-final and in the Western final.

He completed 131 of his 217 passing attempts (60.4 %) for gains from 1655 yards and six affected. He also ran 38 times with the ball for 134 yards of earnings and scored seven other adults, a summit for the team.
