Question to an expert
I was a host in a summer camp for several summers, will this count for my retirement?
Contributions for the retirement of non -volunteers recruited temporarily to supervise children in summer camps or in airy centers are calculated not on their real remuneration, but on flat -rate bases.
For periods worked since 1979, a paid animator or a health assistant contribute, for one month, on the basis of thirty times the amount of the hourly minimum wage in force on 1is January of the year: 356.40 euros currently (30 × 11.88 euros). Before 1979, the basics of contributions were lower (and there is no retroactivity).
To validate a quarter in a year, you must have contributed on the basis of a certain amount: 200 times the amount of the hourly minimum wage before 2014, 150 times since 2014 (the threshold has been lowered in order to better take into account part -time or low income routes). In 2025, 1,782 euros.
Agirc-Arrco points
To obtain a quarter only with animator remuneration in 2025 (if you have not had other jobs in the year), it will therefore be necessary to have worked as an animator the equivalent of five months in the year.
The animators also contribute for their supplementary retirement. Since 2017, it has been systematically at Agirc-Arrco. Before, it could also be at the Ircantec, the complementary regime of non -holders of the public service.
The Agirc-Arrco contributions, calculated on the animator’s real salary and not on the flat-rate basis mentioned above, allow points to acquire points.
