Donald Trump accuses the job statistics of the job of having fakes the figures and returns it

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, asked this Friday, August 1, the referral of the head of the main agency for economic statistics in the United States following the publication of poor employment figures.

Donald Trump asked for the report of the main agency for the United States on Friday after the publication of poor employment figures, an announcement that has amazed certain economists and scandalized its opponents.

“I have just learned that the ’employment figures’ of our country are made by a person appointed by Joe Biden, Dr. Erika MCENTARFER, (…) who has faked employment figures before the election to increase the chances of victory of Kamala” (Harris, his rival in the last presidential election), said the head of state on his social social platform.

“I asked my team to send this person (…), impetuating it will be replaced by someone much more competent and qualified,” he added.

Accused of having inflated the figures

In a second message, Donald Trump denounced figures, according to him, “stuffed to give a bad image of the Republicans and myself”, without putting forward evidence of this manipulation.

Later, during an exchange with the press, he launched: “We need people to whom we can trust”, then again accused the manager of having inflated the figures in the past for the benefit of the previous administration, that of the Democrat Joe Biden.

Erika MCENTARFER is the commissioner of the Federal Statistics Office, an organization that publishes the reference figures on employment, productivity and prices in the United States.

“The completely unfounded dismissal of Erika Mcentarfer, who succeeded me, is a dangerous precedent and undermines the mission of the office,” criticized his predecessor in this post, William Beach, on X, who had officiated during the previous term of Donald Trump.
