Little before, the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres warned Israel, by the voice of a spokesperson, against “a dangerous escalation” which “is likely to worsen the already catastrophic consequences for millions of Palestinians”.
According to the plan validated by the Israeli security firm, the army “is preparing to take control of the city of Gaza”. In a message posted this Friday, August 8 on X, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot said that France firmly “condemns” the plan of the Israeli government.
