The Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation into checks that Kylian Mbappé would have issued five CRS assigned to the Federation (FFF), for possible irregular private services.
The footballer is at the heart of an investigation after a report of Tracfin (fight against money laundering) on checks which he would have issued for five CRS assigned to the protection of French football teams. The Paris prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation.

“Hidden work and money laundering of tax fraud”
It was the Duck chained who indicated, in its Wednesday edition, that the money of the captain of the French team could have served him to “pay the blackness of private services” provided by a CRS commander and four chief brigadiers, for a total amount of 180,300 euros.
“A judicial investigation of the hidden working managers and money laundering of tax fraud was entrusted to the DNE (National Division of Investigations – General Inspectorate of the National Police),” said the public prosecutor of the capital. But the prosecution specifies: “The investigations, in essence complex with regard to financial operations, are underway in order to characterize the commission of possible criminal offenses and to identify the authors if necessary”.
The commander, who has been working for several years in this position, would have accompanied him in particular during private trips to Cameroon and Provence.
The entourage publishes a press release
The entourage of the Real Madrid striker sent a press release in which he assures that “everything was done in compliance with the rules” “and without any consideration”. According to the press release, “since its beginnings in the French team, Kylian Mbappé has always chosen to donate all of his selection premiums”.

For its part, the Duck chained says that a disciplinary council would be planned for the police commander in the fall, and that he would be asked to reimburse wages considered to be unduly perceived.
