The specialist in humanitarian aid and wealth management previously founded and managed the philanthropy consulting service within LGT Bank.
Pictet Wealth Management is expanding its team of philanthropic services with the appointment of Nina Hoas as senior philanthropy strategist. World specialist in philanthropy with more than 25 years of experience in the international development and humanitarian aid sector as well as that of wealth management, Nina Hoas joined Pictet Wealth Management last week in Geneva.
Until now, she directed the lgt bank philanthropy advice, a service she founded four and a half years ago. Previously, she was responsible for the council service in philanthropy at the UBS, in charge of the Nordic markets and the Middle East.
Before becoming a philanthropy advisor, Nina Hoas worked for various humanitarian and development organizations such as the Global AIDS fund, malaria and tuberculosis, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the United Nations World Food Program.
She holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Uppsala in Sweden and followed the Program for Leadership Development of the Harvard Business School. As part of her new functions, she will be under the responsibility of Christoph Courth, Head of Philanthropy Services.
