Traffic was disrupted on the railway line between Lausanne and Friborg because of a fire in Sivriez, in the canton of Friborg, reports «Blick». The fire started around 10:30 a.m. this morning. In the morning, replacement buses were set up.
The lines that were affected are as follows: IC1, IR15 and S40. The situation was restored in the middle of the afternoon. “Following the control of the installations by our teams on site, the circulation of your trains will be able to regain on a path,” explained the CFF On their website in the middle of the day, before the situation was resolved.
Trains on the S40 line have been temporarily “deleted between Romont and Vauderens”.
