“Rust traces”, “leaks” or many “poor workmanships”. They are ten throughout France, and in particular in Dordogne, to denounce the practices of the company Boem Box, specialized in the development of maritime containers, whose headquarters was in Fougueyrolles, in the west Bergeracois. “Discontent” customers, especially after the installation of their swimming pool, and who have been facing a company placed in compulsory liquidation since June 11 by the Bergerac Commercial Court.
In Fougueyrolles, the Boem Box brand has disappeared from the landscape.

There is, for example, this Lotoise which signed a quote in September 2024 for a swimming pool. “Delivery was scheduled for May 2025. At the start of the year, I got in touch with the company and it was radio silence until April 10. I received an email that assured me that my swimming pool was at the schedule. Then, on May 12, I was sent a sheet to fill in for production. Since then I have no news, ”says the one who paid a deposit of 14,000 euros and carried out earthworks for 6,000 euros. “I spent almost 20,000 euros for nothing,” she laments.
Several complaints
“The first year, in 2022, was impeccable,” says Sylvain Pollo, who lives a few hundred meters from the company. Rust on the skimmers and in the technical room appeared the second summer. As soon as there were problems, they were unreachable. As many disorders as an expertise confirmed in March 2025, highlighting “very many rust points”, “waterproofing concerns” and a “lack of frost” on the walls. “The discharge nozzles and the skimmers were mounted on the same side,” also deplores Sylvain Pollo, who filed a complaint for fraud, false advertising and for the dissemination of a photo of his swimming pool without his consent. The scam relates to the container, of which this was to be the second life, but which had already been posed in Sarlat, ”explains the one who will have to pay several thousand euros for repairs.
On the Serres-Castet side, in the Paloise region, Samuel Sulio has been living in a nightmare since March 2024. “From the first week, I had a leak in the glass, he explains. She shot two months and a crack appeared. Since then, it has been unusable. And I spent 21,000 euros. “In November 2024, an expert noted:” The window was roughly glued from the inside. Polymerization defects are clearly visible. With his lawyer, Samuel Sulio filed a complaint against the manager with the Pau prosecutor for “false and use of false”, pointing to a false decennial guarantee certificate. As proof, he produced the email of the insurance company which indicates that “the swimming pool activity was not taken out by the former insured”.
“Real fight”
Grouped together in collective for a month, these victims denounce the difficulties they have known to get in touch with Jérémy Gauwain, the manager of the company (1). “He gave us false promises, gave us false information for months,” said a Dutch couple installed in Lot-et-Garonne, who gave up complaint. His number would have remained unreachable for several months, he has since been reassigned.
There are also the “psychological impacts” suffered by most of the victims. “We were unable to sleep because of this,” said the couple of Lot-et-Garonnais. “For more than a year, it is a real fight that I have been leading against the director of this company,” adds Samuel Sulio. By mediating the case, all hope to reach other victims and enlarge the collective. “A liquidator has been appointed, he will pay the employees, the URSSAF, the suppliers, but what will he stay for us? Asks Sylvain Pollo, who has “little hope”.
