My name is Max Bailey, I am 28 years old and I come from Wollongong, Australia.
How was contact with Lézignan?
I contacted Lézignan thanks to Stuart Mason, who played there for two years. For example, I know Stuart thanks to our common passage to St George Illawarra Dragons. Consequently, It was he who put me in touch with Meky Benhalima, with whom I finalized the contract.
What do you think of the level of the Super XIII?
I heard that the super xiii – max bailey: Super XIII is a very high level competition. Nevertheless, I have some friends who have played there in recent years. I can’t wait to see what this championship looks like.
Why come and play rugby in France?
I come to France to discover a new way of playing Rugby in XIII. I played semi-professional in Australia for eight years. Additionally, I want to live this experience in a new country and a new culture.
What are your ambitions with Lézignan?
My ambitions with Lézignan are to win the championship. I think we recruited well and I can’t wait to start playing.

I’m coming to France to experience a new brand of rugby league. I’ve played semi-professionally super xiii – max bailey: in Australia for eight years. I want to discover rugby league in a new country and culture.
What are your ambitions with Lezignan?
My ambitions with Lezignan are to win a championship. Furthermore, I believe we have recruited well, and I can’t wait to start playing.
