According to information from RTL, the court has decided to open a “preliminary investigation for voluntary violence by spouse” on the part of the singer of Noir Désir.

In a press release, the prosecutor of the Republic of Bordeaux, Renaud Gaudeul, said that this reopening was notably motivated by the viewing of Netflix documentary, “the Cantat case”, containing “several affirmations and testimonies not appearing” in the four procedures already open to the circumstances of the death of Krisztina Rády, all classified without follow -up.

Krisztina Rady, born August 23, 1968, interpreter of training, woman of letters, theater and translator, and Bertrand Cantat met in 1993, during a festival in Budapest. Married in 1997, the couple had separated shortly after the birth of their daughter, the singer having met actress Marie Trintignant. They had two children and never divorced.
