Police alerted the flights of luxury vehicles
Vaud cantonal police are faced with a series of luxury vehicle flights. She invites owners to prudence.
Vaud cantonal police announce that two new cases took place this week.

Tuesday, July 15, around 2 am, the authors of a vehicle flight in Romanel-sur-Morges were “arrested after the police of an interception system quickly by the police,” communicates the Vaud cantonal police this Saturday.
Friday July 18, another case. After a chase on the A1, a vehivule stolen from Zurich was intercepted at the exit of Cossonay, “after having collided with a truck”. These two cases are part of a much wider series. “Several arrests related to these cases have taken place in recent times on the canton of Vaud,” said the cantonal police.

For several weeks, “police have faced an increase in luxury vehicle flights from dealerships”. If the majority of flights take place in German -speaking Switzerland, the police also warn the Romands.
In her press release, the polcant informs that the authors of these flights are, in general, “of French nationality, and sometimes they are minors”. It warns road users, because “they do not hesitate to circulate at very high speeds”.
Cantonal police recommends that dealerships remain vigilant, place the vehicle keys in a secure place, to install a GPS tracer if possible, and to install alarms and surveillance cameras. For individuals, she advises “not to indicate the contact details when putting the vehicle on the Internet on sale, but rather to agree on a meeting place”.
