With 3 million visitors per year, Whistler is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Western Canada, winter and summer. If we spontaneously associate the emblematic station of British Columbia with winter sports, we forget that it seduces just as long as sunny days come. 1. Visit the village

Surrounded by spectacular mountains, Whistler offers a large natural playground. But the pedestrian village also seduces with its summer dynamism. More than 200 shops, cafes and restaurants border its streets, including the new Brasserie Lorette, which highlights French and Quebec culinary traditions.
In the Blackcomb sector, high -end hotel establishments welcome visitors, including the prestigious Four Seasons Resort Whistler, prized for its rooms with views and its heated outdoor swimming pool. Very close to the Fairmont Château, the Whistler Farmers’ Market brings together every Sunday producers and local craftsmen in a friendly atmosphere.

Also fail to visit the Audain Museum of Art and its fascinating collection of Aboriginal masks, the Whistler Museum which traces the history of the pioneers and the 2010 Olympic Games, as well as the Squamish Lil’wat cultural center which highlights the Aboriginal cultures of the region.

The Fonte des Neiges marks the kick -off of the spring revival in Whistler. Each year, from the end of May to the end of June, the station organizes the Nourish well-being series, a special program devoted to the awakening of the body and the mind. More than 60 activities are offered: inspiring conferences, healthy and sustainable meals prepared by passionate leaders, as well as many experiences focused on resources. Among the highlights of the 2025 edition, the ALANA Maas chef prepared a gourmet brunch served in the great outdoors on the peaceful banks of Lake Alta, a prized place in summer for swimming and kayaking.

For his part, Nancy Trueman, practitioner certified in yoga and sound therapy, guided an immersive one hour session at the top of Mount Whistler, mixing conscious breathing and soothing sound bath. In summer, Whistler becomes the Mecca of the mountain bike, with nearly 300 kilometers of trails crisscrossing the slopes of the ski area. The Whistler Mountain Bike Park, renowned all over the world, attracts thousands of followers who came to test its raised turns and spectacular jumps. Every month of August, the Crankworx festival brings together the international elite of freeride and descent. But there is no need to be a mountain bike to fill up on thrills.
The Sasquatch, the longer Tyrolean in North America, offers more than 2 km of descent over the Fitzsimmons river, between the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. The two peaks are also connected by the Peak 2 PEAK cable car which allows you to admire breathtaking 360 ° panoramas while floating between Ciel and Cimes.

In summer, the gondola gives access to many hiking trails, the Cloudraker suspension bridge and the spectacular Raven’s Eye belvedere suspended above the void.
