Why has Google already unveiled the Pixel 10?

Not being able to cut the leaks tap, Google seeks to short-circuit them by presenting its new smartphone one month in advance.

We will start to believe that this is Google’s operating mode. Last year, the firm had proceeded in the same way with the Pixel 9. But, if the launch event of the new Pixel 10 is still scheduled for August 20, we now know from a safe source what it looks like.

Here is the Pixel 10

Google has chosen to lift the curtain on its new smartphones directly on its official website. Internet users have been welcomed for a few hours by a large headband announcing the presentation of Pixel 10 on August 20, followed by a short video showing the back of the phone.

It will be necessary to be a little more patience to know if Google has made progress on the finesse of the edge of the screen of the Pixel 10. On the other hand, we can already observe a look very similar to that of the Pixel 9. We therefore find this aluminum chassis, here in an attractive blue-colored color. The Power button always seems to be positioned above the volume rule on the right edge.

Good news: unlike the Pixel 9a, the Pixel 10 always embark the camera bartrue marker of the brand’s visual identity.

The third camera of Pixel 10 confirmed

There is a detail that stands out in this video. We notice indeed that the Pixel 10 presented here is no longer two, but three cameras on the back.

Google therefore confirms one of the most intriguing rumors about the new smartphone, namely that a telephoto lens will finally appear on the standard model – it has so far been the prerogative of pro models. We imagine that these will offer a better level of zoom in order to legitimize their higher price. A price which, moreover, risks climbing on Pixel 10 compared to its predecessor (€ 899).

Besides, it is said that the Pixel 10 could adopt a more generous battery than in the past, and obviously benefit from better performance thanks to the new G5 tensor chip.
