Highness sustainability
Since its first edition, the Green Cabaret presents itself as an “eco-festival”. Various actions are implemented to make the party ever more sustainable. This desire is found first of all in a large range of mobility for festival -goers: night at night, because, bus, free bicycle parking … everything is thought in terms of soft mobility. In addition, the festival site has been connected to the electrical network in order to remove the majority of generators and reduce CO₂ emissions. Finally, more than 200 volunteers will be responsible for sorting and recovery of waste. With this in mind, the festival organizers specify that “This year, the dishes that require it will be served in reusable dishes recorded. Like the cups, at the end of the festival, these containers will be washed and sent to other events.”
What if sustainability became the standard?

At the green cabaret, a point of honor is put on food. Fancy industrial junk food? Go your way! Here, each stand breathes the Ardennes terroir. After transport, food is the second set of greenhouse gas emission at the festival. To remedy this, more than 85 % of the foods offered come from local suppliers and more than 50 % of salty dishes are vegetarian. On their website, the organizers promise festival -goers a “Local, seasonal and quality food. The teams were a network of quality local producers who have made gastronomy one of the key ingredients in the festival’s reputation”. Ardennaise crust, maroilles pie, bacon salad, zero ass breaking … Here are so many dishes that will tickle the curious palaces of festival -goers of this new edition. A little thirst? More than 70 beers from local independent breweries will be offered, as well as 11 wines, but also ciders, meads and other craft softs.

Discovery of French Ardennes
This Ardennes cabaret is also an ideal opportunity to get green in a particularly exotic region. The heritage of the city of Charleville-Mézières is rich and is worth the detour. Festival -goers will notably be able to appreciate the architecture of Place Ducale, inspired by Place des Vosges in Paris.
