Due to the major fire in progress in Mostuéjouls, in southern Aveyron, roads are closed to traffic at the start of the Tarn gorges.
This Tuesday, August 5 is not the best day to go to the Tarn gorges. Due to the fire that is underway in Mostuéjouls, a Commune Aveyronnaise located at the beginnings of the Gorges, it is not recommended for tourists to come to the sector.
This, in order to avoid taking risks in case the fire spreads, and above all to avoid embarrassing the circulation of emergency services. About sixty firefighters are mobilized to extinguish this disaster, which would have declared itself on a hotel and on cars parked in a nearby parking lot.
Several load shedding axes
In addition, the departmental route 907 is closed between the localities Boyne (commune of Rivière-sur-Tarn) and Beauregard (commune of Mostuéjouls), as reported by our colleagues from the press center. It is precisely in Beauregard that the Hotel de la Muse is located, touched by the disaster.
