UNITED STATESA blanched anti -vax cosmetic surgeon in the middle of a trial
American justice is abandoning the charges against a doctor accused of destroying anti-Cavid vaccines and issued nearly 2,000 false certificates.

Getty Images via AFPThe United States Minister of Justice Pam Bondi ordered the abandonment of the prosecution against a doctor accused of destroying vaccines against the COVVI-19 and having issued false vaccination certificates on Saturday. The net judgment of the procedure, in the middle of the trial and at the request of an elected official of the hard right, is part of the Vaccinosceptic turning point of the American government since the coming to power of Donald Trump.

Michael Kirk Moore, a Utah (west) cosmetic surgeon, had been charged by federal justice in 2023 alongside his clinic and three accomplices.
They were accused of having destroyed for 28,029 dollars of COVVI-19 vaccines and of having distributed at least 1937 false vaccination certificates in exchange for money. Moore, who was likely to spend decades behind bars, was also accused of having administered, at the request of parents, a simple saline solution to their children, by passing it for a vaccine against the COVVI-19.
“This man is a hero”
His trial opened this week at the Federal Court of Salt Lake City. But the elected republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of the most demonstrative supporters of the American president, asked for the abandonment of the prosecution against Michael Kirk Moore. “This man is a hero” who is “prosecuted for having helped people to escape the tyrannical vaccine obligations of the Democrats,” she wrote on X on Tuesday, taking up an article in the anti-vax sphere.
The pandemic caused very strong political tensions in the United States, between defenders of protective measures and vaccination and a fringe of the right opposite to restrictions on freedoms and vaccines. Donald Trump, himself vaccinated against the COVVI-19, appointed as Minister of Health Robert Kennedy Jr. This notorious vaccinosceptic has started a deep overhaul of the American health authorities and their vaccine policy. He is notably accused of having disseminated false information about the measles vaccine, while the United States has been undergoing the worst epidemic in more than 30 years since the beginning of 2025.
