Big fright for young parents on vacation. These Germans, on vacation in Austria, hiked a few days ago in the Tyrol region at an altitude of 1,700 meters. Their 10 -week baby accompanied them in his stroller.
On the way, the 23 -year -old mother briefly dropped the stroller, to open a barrier. A short moment enough for the stroller to start rolling and hitting the slope with the baby inside, reports the newspaper Bild.
In the slope, located in the Austrian Landeck district, the stroller has grown more and more speed before making barrels. It was immobilized 50 meters below. The newborn was ejected into the grass during the fall.
The baby out of danger
Fortunately, Austrian mountain emergency services were already in the sector. They were able to quickly arrive on site and take charge of the newborn. After first aid on site, the baby was transferred to a hospital in the valley and then to the University Hospital of Innsbruck.
The newborn is now out of danger. “Given the seriousness of the accident, this child had an incredible chance,” said the spokesperson for the hospital Johannes Schwamberger.
