Objective of any competition season: progress on horseback and obtain the qualifying points to participate in the French championships, in Lamotte-Beuvron.
This year, five riders from the Luchon equestrian center have qualified. Jeanne Dufor-Mittou, with Roch de l’Alne, will compete in pony 1 D. Lou Espouy, with Sweet de Galabar, will start in pony 2 C. These pony championships will take place from July 5 to 13. “They have a good chance,” says their Moorish teacher. They consolidated their achievements with good rankings. Ponies have experience. On the horses side, Manon Carles and Black Beauty will participate in a club 2 team with Auxane Sangay and Charlie de Reverdy, as well as two riders from the Adour stable (Hautes-Pyrénées). Eulalie Bacqué and Hermione de Beyrie will be aligned in club 3 Peoples (North). “The club was more difficult, with later qualifications, but the girls have progressed a lot, I am very proud”, continues to finance their trip, the riders have organized sales of cakes and raffles with the support of Luchonnais traders.
