Baseus introduced a new mini charger in China. Called Picogo AN12, it has a compact format of 35.53 x 35.53 x 42.33 mm. This size makes it a smaller competitor than the Anker Nano II charger. Although it is small, it supports a fast load of 45 W.
The company underlines that this fast load of 45 W can pass the iPhone 16 pro from 0 to 65 % in just 35 minutes, although the telephone caps around 30 W. Although the charger is supposed to be equipped with the same load controller as that used by Apple, it is compatible with a wide range of devices.
More specifically, it supports PD 3.0, QC 3.0AFC, FCP and PPS. Thanks to this large compatibility with load protocols, the power brick works with Android devices and even with low -power accessories.
To guarantee a stable load, Baseus has integrated several protection functions, in particular against overvoltages and overcurrents. The charger chassis also has a heat dissipation structure, which apparently keeps the feed brick in the fridge during the load.
Among the other strengths of this base charger, let us quote a foldable socket, an airgap design to maintain the cold exterior surface, and an availability in two bright colors. The launch price in China is 138 CNY, or about $ 19. Baseus has not yet given details on the global availability of this version, but the company already sells the standard variant of the charger on the international market (available on Amazon), but it is not equipped with the Airgap design or a foldable socket.
