Toni Rocak (13 points) and Selim Fofana (12) were the best markers on the Swiss side.
Switzerland will face theUkraine (37th in the FIBA ranking) this Wednesday, August 6 in Friborg (7 p.m.), before receiving the Slovakia Wednesday August 13 in Winterthour (7 p.m.), then finish his campaign in Ukraine on Saturday August 16. Only the first two teams of each group will then be able to take part in the “official” qualifications, which will start in November.
As a reminder, the national team had won its six games from the 1st round of pre-qualifications, disputed between February 2024 and February 2025 against Ireland, Azerbaijan and Kosovo.
