Women are less comfortable than men when it comes to wear a swimsuit, according to a study of the sales site Galaxus published Tuesday, June 24, relayed by “Watson». After having questioned Swiss, French, Germans, Austrians and Italians, the platform also notes that these gentlemen “are more and more confident with age”.
It is therefore a little more than a third of women who declare themselves uncomfortable, against a little less than one in five. Conversely, “one in five people feels very comfortable in a swimsuit, against one in ten women,” explains the business.
French women less comfortable than Swiss
Disparities also exist depending on the country. The French are the most uncomfortable, while in Austria, the swimsuit is more easily worn. The Swiss are just behind their Austrian neighbors.
The survey also shows that depending on their age, women do not choose the same swimwear models. Indeed, the more the years advance, the more they abandon the bikinis. In Switzerland, a third of women between 15 and 29 years old, choose the two-room apartment, compared to 8% of the 60-79 year olds.
