Two days after their surprise wedding in Sicily, Marlène Schiappa again seized her Instagram account to share new images. The former minister and his companion Matthias Savignac chose to say “yes” – or rather “if” – in Palermo, during an intimate civil ceremony. A happy event celebrated a few months before the couple’s first child arrived.

A snapshot thus revealed the perfectly matched alliances that they chose with Matthias Savignac, as well as a piece of the white lace dress carried by Marlène Schiappa for the ceremony. “With this ring, I promise to be faithful, to honor you and to love you every day of my life: in joy and in pain, in wealth or poverty, in illness and in health,” wrote the bride, taking up a passage of her wishes.
A nice blended family
In addition to organizing a wedding abroad, Marlène Schiappa and Matthias Savignac are preparing to welcome their first child together.
