Bienne: robbery of a gas station, police publish photos

Two weeks after a call for witnesses remained without effect, the Bernese cantonal police published new images as part of a brigandage investigation. These are non-pixelated photos of the alleged perpetrator of a robbery committed in a service station in Bienne, on June 20, 2025, around 6:30 am. He would be between 20 and 30 years old, depending on the police, and had fled on foot after grabbing the cash register.

The images are accessible on the cantonal police website and will remain online until further notice. They were made public by decision of the regional public prosecution Jura Bernese-Seeland, who had already ordered a first research notice on July 1, then a second on July 8, with pixelated images.

Despite intensive research, the person appearing in the images has still not been identified. Anyone likely to provide information on this subject is requested to contact the Bernese cantonal police at +41 32 324 85 31. If the desired individual is manifested or if it is identified thanks to a report, the images will be withdrawn.
