Bitcoin reached a new higher, Thursday, August 14, in the morning, in the first Asian exchanges, exceeding for the first time the threshold of $ 124,000 (or 106,355.61 euros).
Cryptocurrency has been showing a clear progression for several months, encouraged in particular by the favorable legislative framework set up by US President Donald Trump and the prospect of a drop in rates by the Fed by the end of the summer. On the regulatory level, the latest major legal battles led by the American regulatory authority of the sector are now closed.
The star of cryptocurrencies broke his previous record of July 14 (123,205 dollars, or 105,673.73 euros), even briefly exceeding 124,500 dollars (or 106,784.46 euros) before reflecting. Around 4 o’clock in Paris, Bitcoin was exchanged for some 123,600 dollars (or 106,012.52 euros).
American shares finished increasing sharply on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the S&P 500 index reaching a new higher, as is the Nasdaq with a strong technological coloring, contributing to the increase in cryptocurrency.
