According to their press release, an emergency call was received around 7:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. GMT), signaling an accident in the Gulf of Musura, in the southeast, during which several passengers have “fallen into the water”.
Several boats of firefighters, coast guard and police were quickly dispatched to the scene. Boaters present in the area also helped rescue operations.
The presence of “strong winds”
The emergency services tried without success to revive four people in cardiopulmonary arrest: three adults and a child, whose age or nationality was specified. Ten other passengers could have been rescued, one of which was hospitalized.
The exact causes of the accident remain to be established, but a spokesman mentioned the presence of “strong winds” with the press.
