Worker at ESAT at Lordat Castle, the young woman shines on tennis courts.

Marine Conquet, worker at ESAT (establishment and service of aid by work) of cedars at the Château de Lordat, continues the successes on the tennis courts. Carrying a slight handicap since her birth, she has done her schooling in a specialized environment before joining an Esat de l’Oise close to the home of her family.

Tonic, curious, Marine has since childhood always loved sports. She tried basketball and especially individual sports: athletics, fencing, swimming, judo, participating with the establishments that welcomed her in school competitions organized by the French adapted sports federation. Young adult, by joining the world of work, she opted for tennis which has become her passion. His family followed his wish to join the Tennis Club du Vexin-Thelles (Oise), turned towards the training and development of tennis in rural areas, bringing together 340 licensees and having a double federal tennis affiliation (FFT) and adapted sport (FFSA). Progressing quickly, she participated in several regional and national competitions.

His family who came to settle in the Razès almost ten years ago, Marine joined the Cedles Esat at the Workshop for the Work, and the Lauragais Tennis Club for training with the Monitor Grégory Cazanave. But side competition in adapted sport, things have been complicated: no event is organized locally: neither the Aude committee, nor the Occitanie League organs competition for this discipline, which will not be long, hopes the president of the departmental adapted sports committee (CDSA) Serge Jammy. So she joins the Tennis Federation through the Lauragais TC, and still renews her sport license adapted to the Oise Committee and the Hauts-de-France League for competition. Vice-champion of League Hauts-de-France and champion of France in more than 35 years last year, this season, she did the double by granting herself the title of regional champion last February in Beauvais, and of France on July 6, 7 and 8 on the courts departmental covers of the Yonne in Auxerre. The group phase was difficult (two victories in the tie-break, a defeat), but it then perfectly managed the rest, before finding the one who had beaten her in the final, and winning in two sets: 4/1, 4/0. A victory which she can be proud of, shared by her relatives and her clubs.
