English actor Terence Stamp, known to have played in “Superman” and “Priscilla Folle du Désert”, died Sunday at the age of 87, his family announced to British media.
(Keystone-ATS) “He leaves behind an extraordinary work, as well as an actor as as a writer, who will continue to touch people for many years,” his family wrote in a statement. After being an icon of the Sixties swinging, Terence Stamp notably played General Zod in “Superman”, as well as in films by Pasolini and Ken Loach.
