Regional promotion
Broye wants to attract its inhabitants with cheaper public transport
A general subscription of one month to 355 francs or a half-size of two months for 33 francs: here is a temporary offer which coincides with the modernization of the network.
The COREB (Regional Community of BROYE) is launching a special offer to promote public transport in BROYE, as the municipality of Estavayer announces in a press release published this Monday. From September 1 to October 10, residents of the region will be able to test public transport at preferential rates thanks to a partnership with SBB, Carpostal and TPF.
The offer includes a half-variest discovery subscription valid for two months for 33 francs and a general subscription discovery of one month at 355 francs. People who wish to continue the experience will benefit from an additional advantage: the amount invested will be deducted when purchasing a standard subscription, provided they renew it within five months of the end of the offer.
Simple conditions to take advantage of it
Those interested can obtain their subscription in the public transport points of sale in Payerne and Estavayer-le-Lac. Just present the coreb voucher, available in paper or digital version on the organization’s website. The subscription will be directly loaded on their swisspass and travelers will be able to freely choose their first day of validity.
This action is part of the Coreb mobility strategy. The organization wishes to raise awareness of the advantages of soft mobility and facilitate the test of public transport, whether for professional journeys, leisure or travel through Switzerland.
The timing of this promotion is not trivial. It coincides with the entry into force of new 2025 schedules and Payerne-Palézieux. COREB thus intends to enhance the continuous improvement in the quality of public transport in the region and encourage residents to discover or rediscover this mode of travel at a time when the network is modernized.
