At Morges station, some bus stops will be moved from July 21 to 23 due to the maintenance work of the road surface. A signal will be installed on site.
As part of maintenance work on the road surface, the city of Morges undertakes occasional interventions on the square and the rue de la Gare during the summer school holidays. These works aim to guarantee the safety and quality of public infrastructure, and will also allow the installation of new ground markings adapted to visually impaired people by September.
The urban and regional lines serving the Morges station will continue to circulate normally, without interruption of service. However, due to the site, the stops for our regional lines will be temporarily moved under the station bridge. Detailed information will be made available directly on site, close to the stops concerned.
For three days
The planned dates are July 21, 22 and 23. Throughout the duration of the work, the stops will be moved as follows:
- Line 724 (Allaman) >> under the Lake Direction bridge;
- Lines 740 (Apples – Pampigny), 735 Cossonay – Orny) and 736 (Bussigny) >> under the bridge in the direction of Jura;
- Lines 730, 726 (and substitution buses R56 Apples – beer) >> South of the square, immediately in front of the southern island.
Night interventions too
Work will also take place at night in rue de la Gare, at rue du Pont-Neuf, in order to limit their impact on day traffic. These night works could cause punctual sound pollution, but everything will be done to reduce their duration and the inconvenience for residents.
