Canada is investing in services to support economic integration and filling mains of mains

The July 23, 2025Ottawa The new government of Canada’s mandate is to build a strong economy by attracting the greatest talents in the world and filling the shortages of key labor.

Today, the Honorable Lena Metlege Diab, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced funding of more than 3.2 billion dollars over three years at more than 520 organisations Outside Quebec to improve the integration of newcomers, including in the labor market, and reduce labor shortages.

Establishments are essential to provide vacancies in high demand sectors such as health care and specialized trades. Thanks to increased economic integration, newcomers can quickly take advantage of their skills, fill the shortages of labor and increase productivity.

Funding will be granted to local organizations so that they can provide tailor -made services that take into account regional considerations and needs, instead of following a standardized approach. The services will include:

  • assistance in obtaining the exercise permit or approval in a regulated profession;
  • general and specific linguistic training in French and English;
  • Support for new French -speaking arrivals to integrate in French -speaking communities outside Quebec.

These services will help newcomers to succeed in Canada by supporting their economic, social and cultural integration in the country’s communities.

Thanks to an approach focused on results, Canada will attract a solid hand and build a unified Canadian economy – the strongest in the G7.
