The Carcans Bombannes (SNCB) water skiing has once again proven its excellent level during national and international competitions, young and seniors, which took place in July.
The French youth championships were organized on the water plan of the Pays de Montbéliard leisure center on July 10 and 11 in the presence of the best national hopes. The SNCB was represented by Julia Lacarrau and Lubin Conte, respectively among those under 12 and under 14. Both have brilliantly pulled out of the game. Julia won the title of French champion in slalom and jump and finished on the second step of the podium in figures. For his part, Lubin wins the title of vice-champion of France in figures, finished in the 3e Place in jump and at 6e Place a slalom.
The dynamics of a club
Thanks to these good results, the two young Carcana skiers were selected to participate in the European Championships the following week in Spain. They finish 2e In the team classification, Lubin having, individually, accessed the final phases in figures.
The SNCB aligned, at the same period, five confirmed skiers on the occasion of the French championships over 35 years old which took place in Corrèze, from July 18 to 20, on Lake Valette in Marcillac-la-Croisille. Thierry Rocher, among those over 45, and Patrick Guyamier, among those over 55, won a title of champion of France in slalom. Clémence Buisan is placed on the 3e Podium walking in slalom among those over 35 and Pascal Delage, among over 55s, finishes 2e in figures and 7e a slalom.
Patrick Guyamier will participate in the European Championships in early September in the Czech Republic.
These excellent results confirm, this year again, the Dynamics of the SNCB which focuses on the integration and training of young talents while offering confirmed skiers for quality facilities and equipment to the height of the expected performances.
